Web Design & Development
Full-stack, custom builds, not templates dressed up to look bespoke. Designed in the open and engineered to ship, from marketing sites to complex applications.
A one-person studio that scopes, designs, engineers, and ships real software, from the first discovery call to the production database. Built for schools.
Most agencies hand you off: strategy to design to a different dev shop, each losing the thread. Here, the same person who maps your problem writes the database query that solves it. Fewer seams, better software.
Full-stack, custom builds, not templates dressed up to look bespoke. Designed in the open and engineered to ship, from marketing sites to complex applications.
PostgreSQL schemas, edge functions, auth, and integrations designed to scale cleanly: the unglamorous engine that makes the rest trustworthy.
Before a pixel moves: understanding the real problem, the users, and the goal worth building toward.
User flows, information architecture, wireframes and prototypes: the structure beneath the surface.
High-fidelity interface design with a point of view: warm, considered, and never off-the-shelf.
Scalable, cohesive design systems and UI kits wired directly into the build, so consistency is enforced by the code, not policed by hand. Efficiency and coherence as a default, not an afterthought.
Deployment, monitoring, and iteration after launch. The relationship doesn't end at handoff.
SaaS products, customer portals, internal operations tools, purpose-built around how your business actually works, replacing the spreadsheets and off-the-shelf tools that almost fit.
Not concepts or pitch decks: live, contracted software running real operations for real organizations in North Carolina.
A modular, school-branded operations platform for charter and private schools: the day-to-day tooling the big SIS vendors never built.
Schools on PowerSchool or Infinite Campus still lack lightweight, affordable tooling for daily operations: carline & dismissal logistics, PTO management, substitute tracking, volunteer onboarding, calendars, and family communication.
A modular, school-branded platform with multi-campus architecture, interactive dashboard widgets, Excel-driven carline processing, and digitized volunteer-agreement workflows. Piloted with Revolution Academy in Greensboro, NC.
A live, production SaaS actively used by a real school, running on a founding-partner pricing model with a roadmap to expand across charter and private schools statewide.
Schools shouldn't need an enterprise contract to run carline. Belltower is the part of school software no one bothered to build, done properly.
A purpose-built operations portal for a Greensboro-area property management company, replacing manual workflows with software shaped to their business.
The client needed a purpose-built operations portal, not an off-the-shelf PM tool, covering tenant management, maintenance request tracking, document handling, and integrated payments under one roof.
A scoped and contracted Tier 2 custom platform with domain-based login routing, Stripe Connect ACH payment processing, e-signature workflows, and automated invoice generation.
A fully contracted, in-development custom SaaS, replacing manual workflows for a real, operating property management business.
They didn't want another tool that almost fit. They wanted the one built for exactly how they work, scoped, contracted, and shipping.
Five stages, one person accountable for all of them. No briefs lost in translation between teams that never spoke.
This is where my business-analyst training earns its keep: mapping how your operation actually runs today, where it breaks, who it touches, and what measurably better would look like. Genuine product discovery before a single design decision, because the wrong problem solved beautifully is still wrong.
User flows, information architecture, wireframes, and prototyping. We get the bones right and pressure-test them before any high-fidelity pixels are spent.
High-fidelity UI design, a design system built to scale, and a UI kit that keeps everything coherent. Warmth and craft, systematized, so it stays consistent as it grows.
Full-stack development on a foundation that's modeled, not improvised: a properly architected database, backend logic, third-party integrations, auth, payments, whatever the problem actually requires. The schema and the screen, built by the same hands so they never drift apart.
Hosting, deployment, and ongoing support and iteration. Real software is never finished at launch, and you'll always be talking to the person who built it.
I didn't arrive at software in a straight line, and that turns out to be the advantage. I trained in chemistry, which runs on hypotheses, controlled tests, and the humility to let results overrule your assumptions. I worked as a business analyst, where the entire job is turning a messy, real-world operation into requirements clear enough to act on. And I went deep on database management, the craft of modeling that reality into something structured, durable, and fast.
Those threads are really one skill: understand the actual problem, model it honestly, then build the system that proves it out. It's why I'm as comfortable in a discovery call mapping how your business runs as I am designing the schema that will run it. The analysis and the architecture aren't separate phases handed between people. They're the same line of thinking.
I founded Sigmon Digital Labs LLC in Greensboro, NC to build serious web and database solutions for people who need more than a template, so far a live school-operations SaaS and a contracted property-management platform, both scoped, modeled, designed, and engineered from scratch.
When you work with me, you work with me. No handoffs, no account managers, no game of telephone between the person who understands your problem and the person writing the code. The analyst, the database architect, and the developer are one person, and that person answers your email.

The best projects start with a problem, not a spec. Describe the bottleneck, the spreadsheet you've outgrown, or the tool that almost fits, and I'll tell you honestly whether I'm the right person to build it.
